DISPOSAL
Discarded items should be cleaned and disinfected prior to
disposal to avoid cross-contamination. It is recommended to
recycle them according to local regulations.
VIGILANCE
In case of any serious incident that has occurred in relation to
the use of the device, please report the incident to CMT at
contact@coremedtech.dk. You can also report it to the competent
authority of the state in which the user and/or patient is
established.

If the scan post has wedged itself and is difficult to remove the
situation can be mitigated by introducing a slight momentum
(rotate).
WARNING
Avoid applying excessive torque to scan post
during retraction as this may cause unnecessary
deformation or even break the Scan Post.

It is not recommended to use tools during the
mounting, retraction or dislodging as this may
cause damage, deformation or even break the Scan
Post.
STEP 5: CLEANING AND STORAGE
Following use, the scan posts must be cleaned prior to storage.
Cleaning procedure
• Clean the scan posts by rinsing with clean, preferably purified,
water until dust or debris is removed.
• Dry the articles with a clean lint-free cloth
• Store in appropriate container.
WARNING
The scan posts must be thoroughly cleaned
immediately after use.
STORAGE
The system storage box allows for sorting of scan posts by length
and diameter.
The scan posts kit should be stored away from
direct sunlight.
LIFETIME
The lifetime of the product is dependendant on several
factors and it is recommended that the condition of the scan
post is inspected prior to every use. The maximum amout of
resprocessing cycles is secondary to the how progressed the
general wear is.
Maximum 100 reprocessing cycles
WARNING
The scan posts may be damage and or change
dimensions due to excessive wear and it is
recommended that the Scan Posts are inspected
prior to use and discarded at the first sign of wear
or deterioration.
